The pressurized water passes through a tiny opening in a nozzle installed in the work head; the high pressure accelerates water to a very high velocity. The jet velocity reaches more then 1000 m/s.

Abrasive material is added to the waterjet stream. The resulting mixture is accelerated in the mixing tube. The abrasive particles move at very high speed and cut the material.

Two work heads move according to a program in an X and Y direction cutting workpieces.

The worktables can accept a maximum sheet size of 6,000 x 2,500mm. The table is equipped with two parallel heads. Positioning accuracy is a few hundredths of a millimeter.

The method allows the maximum utilization of the raw material using smart planning, combining various parts on the same sheet of raw material (nesting).

The work method is possible with two parallel cutting heads that results in a relatively low pricing for executing large-scale works.
